young Asta and Yuno were raised in a church. As they grew up together they came to know of the "Wizard King" a title granted only to the strongest of mages, in admiration they promised to compete for the title of "Wizard King". However they must overcome many difficulties along the way. As they grow up Yuno is found to be prominent in magic, whilst Asta doesn't seem to have any. When Yuno recieve the four leaf clover grimoire, an extremely powerful grimoir known to have belonged to the first Wizard King, he soon finds himself in danger only to be saved by Asta. Seeking to become the "Wizard King" they both set out to become "Magic knights".
